Try this simple and easy to follow recipe for a different kind of snack. It will surely take your appetizer game to the next level.

You Will Need

  • Plank
  • Jalapeño
  • Smoked Colby Jack/Smoked Muenster Cheese
  • Bacon
  • Barbecue Rub


Soak plank for about 1 hour. Preheat the grill for indirect and direct cooking.

Make some jalapeño boats. Put the cheese in the jalapeño boat. Then wrap with half a piece of bacon for each boat. Sprinkle with barbecue rub.

Place in the plank, then place the plank on the grill grate and cook for about 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, move to direct heat until the plank is almost on fire. Cook for another couple of minutes, then remove from the grill and serve.
