Planked Jalapeno Poppers

  • Grill

Ingredients
  

  • Jalapeño
  • Smoked Colby Jack/Smoked Muenster Cheese
  • Bacon
  • Barbecue Rub

Instructions
 

  • Soak plank for about 1 hour. Preheat the grill for indirect and direct cooking.
  • Make some jalapeño boats. Put the cheese in the jalapeño boat. Then wrap with half a piece of bacon for each boat. Sprinkle with barbecue rub.
  • Place in the plank, then place the plank on the grill grate and cook for about 25 minutes.
  • After 25 minutes, move to direct heat until the plank is almost on fire.
  • Cook for another couple of minutes, then remove from the grill and serve.
