- 6 Oz Spicy Brown Mustard (sub any mustard, try classic yellow)
- 1 Bottle Barbecue Sauce
- BBQ Dry Rub of your choice
- Apple Juice
- Beer
Brisket should be trimmed, then slathered with hot mustard.
Apply a dry rub, then wrap it up and place it in the fridge for eight hours.
Add hot water, beer, and apple juice to the drip tray or designated water pan in the smoker after preheating it to 230 °F.
After the first two hours of cooking, you may start spritzing the meat with apple juice every two hours.
Cook for around 12 hours or until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 195 °F.
Slice against the grain, then serve after 30 minutes of standing.
